The Good Stuff

The closest I got to the good stuff this weekend was seeing Cam Chambers GF Subaru drive by heading to Wilderness Perk while I sat in Juice Stop with my crew prior to Seven's dance rehearsal.

CVO's got your Visuals from the Platte Marathon. Looks like Cam took it, which can't be too shocking. Maybe it was the goodness of the perk that pushed him to the top. Who's got the goods on MW? First SS?

Mr. 24 showed he's also a force at 12. Carl podiumed at 3rd. Nice work fellas.

Basso's kicking ass today in the Giro.

Looks like my next race with have to wait until here: 12hrs of Cedar Valley.

We missed you Skip. Hope all is well.

Kent McNeil, Sam, and then MW for the single speeds.

Watch out for Team Sameron at the 12 hours of B.O. Airstreams, rigidity and shenanigans included.

What is the course like at B.O. 12 hour? Is it wooded singletrack? Open prairie? Other?

Well Jeff, it's both wooded and open prarie, not very straight, bumpy, twisty, hard to carry speed, two steeper hills, around a 25 minute/5 mile lap, foggy at 3am in both senses, cross bike-able, big wheel better-able, Skips bike would fall apart, and no less than 200 yards from a Nebraskan roughing it on their Memorial Day weekend.

My bike would fall apart.

But I would just ride it anyway.

Still working on a way of getting out there for the fun.
