Excellent find! I was lucky enough to watch them at MacRock in '04, great show!
Oh yeah, real passion and fire in the belly.
The highlight of my own musical career was supporting them on a show on their 93 Australian tour. Last year I saw The Evens in Wellington NZ, and was talking to Ian after the (amazing) show. I mentioned the gig that I did with them, and he remembered! "Oh Yeah, at the bowls club, right? That was the first time we saw the Southern Cross..."
