Little Bummer

Looks like the Snob will not be racing the State Champs. The recon for the Epic is that weekend and it's now time to dial things in and put together a race people enjoy and feel good about riding in.

Worst Fear: Having people come away bummed because of something I could have controlled. (which makes me waver about riding it myself or running the "command center.")

Working on some cool news in conjunction with someone who's a great part of the endurance freak community. Stay tuned.

BareKnuckle's and Beer. Yes!! (BareKnuckleBeerBrigade?)

Get that recon done. I think I've got two or three more live ones for the Epic. Now to get them to put their money where their mouth is.

If only this wasn't the same weekend as the your Epic...

But if you race in Michigan, you race Iceman. Plus I own that race a kick in the junk from last year.

Boy can I identify with this post, Skip! My advice: You are knowledgable and you care about the event. You will do a good job, I've no doubt. Everybody that's got a problem can just Eff Off! Really, it's YOUR event. You run it as you see fit. Stick to your plan and don't waver.

Sorry 'bout that! Got a bit long winded there, but I've been down this road, ya know?

Party Foul, Patty. Take your talk of going to some other race that weekend to another blog.

You owe me beer.

If I can get Patty an Iceman entry, then I can for sure get Snob a case of Founder's for his trouble.

And perhaps both Patty and I will pledge to do the Epic in '07?

Who knows what the future holds?
